VideoToolShack exists to give everyone access to professional-grade video tools without paying for expensive software, creating accounts, or uploading private video files to unknown servers.
Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your video files never leave your device. Not a single frame, not a single byte.
How it works
Most online video tools work by uploading your file to a remote server, processing it there, and sending back the result. That means your video — potentially private, personal, or confidential — passes through someone else’s infrastructure.
VideoToolShack takes a fundamentally different approach. We use WebAssembly — a technology that lets complex software run directly inside your browser at near-native speed. Our video processing tools are powered by FFmpeg.wasm, a full build of the professional FFmpeg video toolkit compiled to run entirely client-side.
Tools that only need basic frame capture (Video Screenshot, Frame Extractor) use the browser’s built-in Canvas API — no FFmpeg required, instant results.
