1. Overview
VideoToolShack (“we”, “our”, “the site”) operates at videotoolshack.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
The core principle of VideoToolShack is that all video processing happens entirely in your browser using WebAssembly technology. Your video files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party server.
2. Information we do NOT collect
- Your video files, images, or any media you process using our tools
- The content of your videos or subtitle files
- Your name, email, or any personal identifying information (no account required)
- Payment information (all tools are free)
3. Information we may collect
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, general geographic region). This data is aggregated and never linked to individuals. No personally identifying information is collected.
Server logs
Like all websites, our server automatically logs standard request information including IP addresses, browser type, and pages accessed. These logs are used for security and performance monitoring and are not shared with third parties.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Advertising
VideoToolShack may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks. These networks may use cookies to serve relevant ads. Please refer to your browser settings or the ad network’s privacy policy to opt out of interest-based advertising.
5. Third-party libraries
Our tools load open-source libraries from CDN providers (jsDelivr) including FFmpeg.wasm, JSZip, and Mammoth.js. Loading these libraries may cause your browser to make requests to CDN servers. No video data is transmitted in these requests.
6. Children’s privacy
VideoToolShack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
